While thousands of New Yorkers are planning to protest the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration, a group of nearly 400 marched from Columbus Circle to the Trump Tower expressing their anger over the outcome of the election.

A Women’s March on NYC has been scheduled for Jan. 21, 2017. Organizers said the march is for anyone unable to participate in the Women’s March on DC, planned for Friday, January 20.

The NYC demonstration will start in Union Square at 11 AM and participants will then march up to Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue at 56th Street.

“Marching to the doorsteps of this tower to promote the advancement of equality and human rights for all women, minorities, and immigrants sends a clear message to the incoming cabinet that we are watching,” organizers wrote on the event’s Facebook page.

More than 13,000 people have said they are interested in the event and over 3,000 said they are planning to attend.

Tens of thousands have already participated in weekly protests after the election against the policies and rhetoric Trump promoted throughout his campaign.
